A new way to experience nature…first of its kind in OC outdoors!
Let your cell phone be your guide. That's right: Your phone provides a fun, and convenient, way to learn more about Quail Hill in the City of Irvine's Open Space Preserve, which is also part of the Irvine Ranch Natural Landmarks. During this new self-guided audio tour, you can use your phone to listen as naturalists and researchers provide narrations on all aspects of the land, including its biology and history as well as trail etiquette.

People Making a Difference
Thank you to all of our volunteers!
Approximately 250 volunteers, along with their families and Irvine Ranch Conservancy staff, turned out for a festive "2009 Volunteer Appreciation" party in early May. Held under the shady oak trees in Augustine Staging Area, the gathering served as an opportunity for these extraordinary people to temporarily put aside their volunteer duties and enjoy an all-access day in the Irvine Ranch Natural Landmarks featuring live music, delicious food and nature's bounty.
